Accomplishments
October 2006- September 2007
- Purchased 15 new DellT computers to upgrade the classroom computers.
- Developed Title III Procedure Manual.
- Installed Axis TVT, campus communication system at Applewood Village.
- Purchased nine desktop computers and distributed to faculty.
- Distributed three ToshibaT tablet computers to Division Chairs to enhance delivery of instruction.
- Purchased two Samsung handheld computing devices for field work.
- Funded either totally or partially nine of ten Technology Improvement Grants.
- Installed Media Manager Instructional stations in Halterman 150, the Music room, and Halterman 285, the Floral Lab.
- Installed Video Conference Workstation in the Halterman Hall Conference Room for the IPanel Video Conferencing System.
- Installed mobile computer cabinets in the Greenhouse Classroom 115, and Turf lab, Skou 232.
- Equipped 124 Halterman Hall, Distance Learning Room, with a computer and projector to make the room more versatile.
- Purchased and installed ceiling projectors for two classrooms.
- Wired and equipped one classroom, Skou 136 Engineering Lab, with a computer, mobile computer cabinet and ceiling-mounted projector.
- Purchased AverMedia document camera for faculty use.
- Developed and launched Title III web site.
- Purchased two SmartBoards for classrooms.
- Assessed technology needs of faculty informally throughout the year.
