Apply for admission on-line
using The Ohio State University application
- Complete and mail your application for admission to Ohio State.
To download an Ohio State ATI application
to your computer to print out or to apply on-line using The Ohio
State University application, use the links above.
- Arrange a personal conference at Ohio State ATI. This conference
is not required but is highly encouraged. Your campus visit will likely
include an appointment with a faculty member in your area of study,
a review of the degree requirements, a tour of our facilities and
a discussion of enrollment information.
- Take the American
College Test (ACT) or the SAT and release the results to Ohio
State. Scores that appear on your high school transcript will be accepted.
Students are welcome to apply for admission even before taking one
of these tests since the results are generally not required for an admission
decision. However, the scores are needed prior to registration for
classes; scores are required for English and math placement and are also
considered in the awarding of campus-based financial aid. Ohio State's
ACT/SAT code is 360430.
Note: The following applicants are not required to provide ACT or SAT
scores:
- applicants who have been out of high school for two or more years,
or
- applicants who will be 21 years or older at the time of enrollment
at Ohio State ATI, or
- undergraduate transfer applicants.
Once Ohio State has received your application:
- 2 weeks later (approximately), you will receive acknowledgement
of your application.
- 2 to 4 weeks later, you will receive notification of missing application
items, if any.
- 6 weeks later (approximately), you will receive your admission decision.
After You Have Been Admitted
- You will receive an admission confirmation letter from Ohio State
ATI.
- You will be mailed an Acceptance Fee Statement requesting a $100
non-refundable acceptance fee to confirm your enrollment.
- You will be invited to our Student Orientation, Assessment and
Registration (SOAR) program. At this program, you will take placement
tests, meet with your adviser, schedule your Ohio State ATI classes
and participate in other orientation activities.
- You will receive information about on-campus housing. All admitted
students will be mailed information. Individuals interested in commuting
must apply for exemption from the housing requirement.
