Campus Hours of Operation
During Autumn, Winter, and Spring Quarters, Halterman Hall and Skou Hall are open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Summer Quarter hours for campus facilities will be posted at a later date. Ohio State ATI offices are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily (closed weekends and holidays).

Room scheduling forms are available from Receptionist, 211 Halterman Hall, for groups or clubs wishing to use Ohio State ATI facilities. Entrance and use of facilities is restricted to hours when faculty or staff are present.

Recreational Activities
Recreational activities and sports should be confined to the athletic field north of the Student Activities Center. Vehicles are not permitted on the lawn or playing areas.

Communications

Axis TV
AxisTV is a closed-circuit, on-campus communication system which uses flat-screen plasma monitors to broadcast important information to ATI students, faculty, and staff. Displays are located in the Halterman and Skou Hall lobbies, the Student Activities Center, and the housing office. Policies regarding the use of the Axis TV system are available in PDF form.

Students may submit notices to be posted to the system by using this online form.

Bulletin Boards
Student Services and Academic Affairs notices are posted in the hallway outside the Academic Affairs Office, 219 Halterman Hall. Notable events and deadlines are posted in the main lobby in Halterman Hall. Other announcements are posted frequently on bulletin boards throughout campus.

Bulletin boards available for general student use are located in the Skou Hall Lounge and Café Carmen. Posting of signs on any surface other than authorized bulletin boards is prohibited. Prior approval of technology or division bulletin boards must be obtained. Unapproved posting will be removed and discarded.

Telephones

A public pay phone is located in the north foyer of Skou Hall.

Courtesy phones, which can be used to dial on-campus numbers, are located:
Halterman Hall, east entrance
Applewood Office Lobby
Applewood Laundry Room

Students may not use University phones for personal calls. Ohio State ATI will not receive personal phone calls for students unless it is an emergency situation.

Fax Service
For a fee, students may send or receive faxes in 211 Halterman Hall, or the Applewood Administration Office.

• Textbooks and supplies required for classes
• Reference books and school supplies
• Souvenir goods and Ohio State ATI clothing
The bookstore is owned by Ohio State ATI and managed by Barnes and Noble.

Tips for Buying Textbooks
• Purchase textbooks as soon as you receive your approved course schedule.
• Right before the quarter starts is a good time to find a used book.
• Read the shelf tags carefully and match it to your course schedule.
• Remember that different professors teaching the same course can require different books.

Used Textbooks
Used books can be purchased for 25% off the new book price. Shop early for the best selection of used textbooks.

Textbook Refund Policies
You may turn in your textbooks for a refund through the first week of each quarter and the first week of each summer term. You must have your receipt and books must be in the same condition as when they were purchased.

Textbook Buyback
You may be able to sell back your used textbooks for cash during finals week each quarter. If the book is needed next quarter, we will offer you one-half of the book's new selling price until appropriate inventory levels are met. If the books are no longer being used we may offer a wholesale price. Some books may have no buyback value because a new edition has been released, there is little nation-wide demand, or the book is in poor condition.

Other Facilities and Services

Lockers
Lockers located in the men's and women's restrooms near the Bookstore in Skou Hall are available for short-term use. Students must provide their own locks. As a courtesy to others, please remove your lock when not using the locker for a long period of time.

Lost and Found
If you lose something, check Institutional Services, 211 Halterman Hall. If you find something, bring it to us. It's yours in 30 days if unclaimed!

Pets
Animals, other than authorized laboratory or service animals, are not permitted inside campus buildings at any time. Students may bring in animals for class presentations with prior approval from the Ohio State ATI Institutional Services Office.

Tobacco Products
Ohio State ATI buildings and vehicles are tobacco-free. Smoking and the use of chewing tobacco or other tobacco products is allowed only in designated outside areas.

Equipment Maintenance and Use
You may arrange to use university equipment and supplies for Ohio State ATI sponsored events through Institutional Services. You are not permitted to use ATI equipment or facilities for personal profit or gain.

Ohio State ATI Farm Operations
For reasons of safety and security, persons are not permitted on any of the farm operations unless involved in practicum, lab, employment or other authorized university activity.
